Terms and Conditions for the Kora Mini Retreat

  1. Payment:

    • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place at the retreat. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

    • The balance of the retreat fee must be paid by the due date specified on the invoice. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the loss of your reservation without refund of the deposit.

  2. Cancellations and Refunds:

    • In the event of a cancellation by the participant, the deposit will not be refunded. However, if the participant can find a suitable replacement for their spot, the balance payment (excluding the deposit) may be transferred to the new participant.

    • In the unlikely event that the retreat is canceled by the organizer, participants will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit. The organizer is not liable for any additional expenses incurred, such as travel arrangements.

  3. Participant Responsibility:

    • Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and personal belongings throughout the duration of the retreat.

    • It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the retreat activities, including playing the Kora. If a participant has any medical conditions or requires medication, they must manage these independently.

    • The organizer is not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage suffered during the retreat.

  4. Travel and Insurance:

    • Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the retreat venue.

    • It is strongly recommended that participants purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal belongings.

  5. Code of Conduct:

    • All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow participants, the instructor, and the retreat venue. Disruptive behavior may result in the participant being asked to leave the retreat without refund.

  6. Photography and Media Release:

    • By attending the retreat, participants consent to photographs or video recordings being taken during the retreat, which may be used for promotional purposes by the organizer. If a participant does not wish to be included in such media, they must inform the organizer in writing prior to the retreat.

  7. Governing Law:

    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising under or related to these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the French courts.

By registering for the Kora mini retreat, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
